Certified organic since 2016, the Berlucchi vineyards represent the state of the art of viticulture in Franciacorta. What makes them so special is production philosophy, which espouses the related principles of quality and sustainability. That’s why we choose to produce less but better.
Luckily, we have technology on our side. For example, with the Mille1Vigna project, the vineyards were analysed and classified to associate the character of each wine with the corresponding soil type. And thanks to infrared aerial mapping, we were able to assess the fertility of the different areas of the vineyard, staggering the harvest and fertilising only if necessary.
