Our guided tours and tastings at Berlucchi’s winecellars
DiscoverGuido Berlucchi, Italy’s Classic Method pioneering producer and the very first to make a sparkling wine in Franciacorta, commenced its 2019 harvest today, bringing in the rich, golden-hued clusters of Chardonnay from its Spina vineyard in Cologne.
DiscoverBerlucchi ’61 Nature Blanc de Blancs 2012 represents to most uncompromising expression of Chardonnay grown in the Franciacorta growing area, since the grapes are grown exclusively in the heart of a single vineyard. The grapes there display extraordinary roundedness and balance, thanks to the vineyard’s distinctive aspect, encapsulated in the vineyard’s very name, Arzelle, which in the local dialect means “burnt by the sun.”
DiscoverThe prestige of the Family of Berlucchi ’61 Nature Franciacortas— Guido Berlucchi’s “purist” line of vintage-dated (Millesimati), zero-dosage Franciacortas grown in its most exceptional estate vineyards—has gained in stature through the addition of a much-awaited new wine: Berlucchi ’61 Nature Blanc de Blancs 2012 (100% Chardonnay).
DiscoverDusseldorf will again host, on 17-29 March, Prowein, one of the world’s most prestigious wine fairs, which attracts each year over 6,600 international exhibitors and more than 1,000 accredited journalists.
DiscoverThe grapevine is a climbing bush, flourishing in nature in the sub-form of a vine. To obtain the light it needs, the wild grapevine supports itself by wrapping itself around trees until it reaches the top.
DiscoverThere’s certainly no longer any doubt: Berlucchi ’61 Nature 2011 has seduced the most demanding palates both here in Italy as well as across the globe.
DiscoverThe grapevine spread throughout the world before man ever cultivated it, and over millions of years of evolution it developed surprising capabilities of adaptation.
