BERLUCCHI CELEBRATES THE “SPARKLER OF THE YEAR” ACHIEVEMENT IN TOKYO

Berlucchi’s Franciacorta 61 Nature is the Sparkler of the Year, according to Vini d’Italia 2019, the worldwide recognized wine guide published by Gambero Rosso since 1988. Ziliani family, owner of this celebrated winery, wish to celebrate this prestigious achievement in Tokyo, being Japan one of the most important foreign markets for Berlucchi.

Paolo Ziliani, vice president and owner with his brother Arturo and sister Cristina, together with Marco Sabellico, editor in chief of Vini d’Italia, will host a fabulous dinner at Riva degli Etruschi restaurant in the beautiful district of Aoyama. Riva degli Etruschi is an elegant Tuscan villa in the center of Tokyo, famous for their genuine and sophisticated Italian cuisine, faithful to the flavours of the Tuscan coast, and an impressive wine list. A selected number of guests will experience Italian delicacies and some of the most prestigious labels Berlucchi has to offer. The focus will be a mini-vertical tasting of three vintages of the award winning cuvée Franciacorta 61 Nature: 2009, 2011 (the Sparkler of the Year 2019) and 2012, an absolute preview, which is due to be released into next few months.
