AT THE BMW GOLF CUP, BERLUCCHI IS THE WINNING WINE AT THE DONNAFUGATA GALA DINNER

Berlucchi Franciacortas will be on podium awaiting the winners of the BMW Golf Cup International 2017, at the Gala Dinner held at the Donnafugata Golf & Resort on Saturday 21 October.

And it was those same Berlucchi Franciacortas that actually accompanied the golfers along the 38 greens of the course, and that went as a “Nearest to the pin Award” prize to the player with the best drive on a par 3 hole.

This prestigious location on the island of Sicily hosted the National Finals tournament, a 3-day event that selected the three Italian champions who will represent Italy in the world finals in South Africa.

The competition uses the Stableford scoring system, with the first male category of a 0-12  handicap, a second of 13-36, and a women’s’ of 0-36.

The BMW Golf Cup International is one of the international golfing world’s most prestigious tours for amateur golfers. It takes place simultaneously in over 50 countries, with the participation of more than 1000,000 players.
